Abstracts & Papers submission

Presentations:

Authors may express their preference for oral or poster (90 x 120 cm) presentation. Authors' preference will be carefully considered by the Scientific Committee, taking into account the program needs and time constraints.

Paper submission and proceedings:

Proceedings will be published electronically as an IOBC/wprs Bulletin soon after the meeting. Manuscripts should consist of short contributions of scientific or technical information that does not interfere or compete with data published in refereed journals. Regular papers should not exceed 8 pages, including tables, graphs and references. Alternatively, authors could produce a short paper; in this case manuscript should not exceed 2 pages, with the same format as for the preparation of regular papers. Submission of manuscripts is a prerequisite for oral or poster presentation. Manuscripts (both regular and short papers)must be sent before the 30th of May 2018 by e-mail to Carmelo Rapisarda ( rapicar@unict.it ), clearly indicating the preference for the presentation (oral or poster). 

Communication of the acceptance of the manuscripts by the Scientific Committee will be given to authors by the 30th of June 2018. A contribution (oral or poster) accepted by the Scientific Committee will be included in the meeting program on receipt, by the presenting author, of both the Registration form, opportunely filled and signed, and the payment of the Registration fee; to this aim, take into account that the final scientific program of the meeting will be circulated on the 10th of August 2018 and no changes will be done after this date.

Summaries reported in all manuscripts will be arranged to create a Book of abstracts, available to participants during the meeting.
